Le ombre tramano.
La natura adesso non è benigna
ma è una calamità ostile.
Così è l’uomo carente della sua divinità.
Non sono un uomo, sono un progetto.
La sopravvivenza è un istinto animale.
Guardo con lungimiranza.
Di bene in meglio.
Poi ottimizzare il meglio.
Le mie membra non conoscono riposo.
Ho compromesso ogni eventualità.
Tanto che l’universo ha acconsentito.
Non più un amante dei prati.
Nel mio magico intreccio
evoco Mefisto e tramano le ombre.
La vendetta è irragionevole per l’avidità, questa è la mia fede.
Voi malvagi!
Desidero, oh Dio, celerità.

Nature is now not benign,
But a malignant calamity.
So is man, deprived of his divinity.
I am not a man, I am a plan.
Survival is an animal instinct
I go as far as I can.
From good to better,
And then to better the best,
My limbs know no rest.
I have mined every possibility
So much that the world
Has caved in.
No longer a lover of meadows,
On my magic web, I conjure
Mephisto and weave shadows.
Mindless vengeance is my creed.
On greed I feed,
Ye devils! Wish me God-speed!
Biografia
Dr. Jernail Singh Anand è Presidente Fondatore dell’Accademia Internazionale di Etica. È membro onorario dell’Associazione degli scrittori serbi di Belgrado. È Professore Emerito di Letteratura Indiana presso l’Istituto Europeo di Studi e Ricerche sui Rom di Belgrado. Il dottor Anand ha scritto più di 150 libri in poesia inglese, narrativa, saggistica, spiritualità e filosofia. È accreditato della teoria del Bio-testo nella teoria critica. Il suo lavoro è stato tradotto in più di venti lingue del mondo. Autore di 9 poemi epici considerati classici moderni, Anand ha organizzato 4 conferenze letterarie internazionali, le ultime a Chandigarh. Gli sono stati conferiti Croce della Pace e Croce della Letteratura, Franz Kafka Laureateship 2022 e Premio Internazionale di Poesia Aco Karamanov 2022 (Mecedonia), per citarne alcuni

Dr. Jernail Singh Anand is Founder Chairperson of the International Academy of Ethics. He is an Honorary Member of the Association of Serbian Writers, Belgrade. He is Prof Emeritus in Indian Literature at The European Institute of the Roma Studies and Research Belgrade. Dr Anand has authored more than 150 books in English poetry, fiction, non-fiction, spirituality and philosophy. He is credited with the theory of Bio-text in critical theory. His work has been translated into more than twenty world languages. Author of 9 epics which are regarded as modern classics, Anand has organized 4 International Literary Conferences, latest of them, in Chandigarh. He was conferred Cross of Peace and Cross of literature, Franz Kafka Laureateship 2022 and International Aco Karamanov Poetry Award 2022 (Mecedonia), to mention a few of them
